The Forest Lake Chamber of Commerce, Quad Chamber of Commerce, and Hugo Business Association will be hosting a special Regional Speed Networking event:

Chamber of Commerce Annual Award Nominations
 
Each year, the Forest Lake Area Chamber of Commerce presents awards to the businesses, individuals, and non-profit organizations who make our community the great place it is to live, work, and play. 

The Chamber makes these awards upon the nominations of you, members of the Forest Lake Area Chamber of Commerce, and presents them at our Annual Meeting Luncheon, which will be held on Tuesday, October 11th.

Forest Lake Lakers Home Opener
 
The Forest Lake Lakers junior hockey team is hosting a Parking Lot Party to celebrate the Home Opener of their 2016-17 season!  Please join them from 11:00am - 1:00pm on Sunday, September 18th at the Forest Lake Sports Center ( click here for a map). 

Free meal with purchase of game ticket, meet the players from 11am - Noon, DJ Dan, and kids activities!

Forest Lake Area Schools Community Education is now offering OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 classes for Construction and General Industry.

No need to travel - classes will be held in the evening at Forest Lake Area High School!

Back to School Fall Baby Clothing Drive
 
Lakes Life Care Center for Women in Forest Lake is in need of new baby clothes for newborn babies and their mothers.  Please consider a donation of new baby clothes - currently seeking boys and girls clothes for ages 0-12 months, but any size will be accepted.  They are also in need of large diapers, wipes, and sippy cups for new mothers.

Donations of items and financial gifts (please make checks payable to Lakes Life Care Center and note "Baby Clothes Drive" in the memo line) will be accepted at the following Forest Lake businesses:

Black Tie, Blue Jeans Night
 
Lakes Area Youth Service Bureau will be hosting their annual Black Tie, Blue Jeans Night fundraiser on Friday, September 23rd at 6:00pm at Vannelli's by the Lake in downtown Forest Lake.

Make your reservations today for a night of fun and magic!  The evening includes a "Hocus Pocus" social hour, a delicious "Presto Chango" sit down dinner, silent and live auction, entertainment by magician Travis Simms, and more.  Proceeds benefit the LAYSB's youth enrichment, jobs plus, and mentoring programs.
