Art in the Garden is this Friday
Our lovely annual garden event is this Friday from 3:30-7:00 p.m. We can still use your donations in the lobby so we have enough supplies for all the kiddos!
You may drop these items off in the buckets located in the school lobby:
-
cardboard tubes from toilet paper, gift wrap or paper towel rolls
-
Beads
-
Bells
-
google eyes
-
old silverware or trinkets that could hang as a chime
-
smaller pieces of scrap wood
And don't forget to bring cash for dinner! Proceeds from food and drink go toward 5th grade's fundraising for their 6th grade year (Wildwood, Village People, etc.).

Trash bag sales due Friday
Everyone needs trash bags right? Well, purchase them through Prairie and you can support your child's education.
Of the $11.00 per roll,
Prairie gets $4.40
.
Stock up on kitchen trash bags, utility trash bags and yard waste bags. Orders are due this Friday for delivery by 9/30.

5K registration price increases 9/17...sign up now!
The 5K is one of Prairie's two largest fundraisers and directly funds our Reading Specialist, School Counselor and Spanish Program. When you register for the 5K, you are helping us keep these resources at Prairie!

And, get your student ready to tackle the Prairie 5K or 1 mile Fun Run by participating in Running Club.
Participants must be registered for the 5K or Fun Run.
Running Club meets after school from 3:15-4:00 p.m.:

3rd and 6th grade class parties this week
The Auction is Prairie's largest fundraiser of the year, and it kicks off with individual class parties. These parties are a great way to meet other parents in your student's grade, and helps jump start the fundraising process.
Be watching your email for an evite with specific details for your party (be sure to check your SPAM folder just in case the email isn't delivered).
