Welcoming Jeff to Argo!
Jeff Velodota
Vice President of Sales

Please join us in welcoming Jeff Velodota to the Argo team! Jeff joined Argo in August as the VP of Sales and works remotely out of Savannah, Georgia. To learn a little more about Jeff, read our brief Q&A with him below.

Q. What is your previous experience in the call center industry?

A. I began my call center experience where many do: on the phones as a representative. I spent the next 21 years helping to build the call center I started my career with into a major domestic player. I had the opportunity to oversee such important departments as operations, training, quality assurance, expansion management, and, later, spent extensive time as the VP of Client Services and Sales. Upon moving to Savannah in 2006, I became focused on sales exclusively and growing the few contact centers that I worked at subsequently into profitable organizations while always focused on bringing in brands and programs that our representatives were happy to be associated with. Collectively, I've been in the call center industry for 30 years, having begun my journey after my first semester in college.

Q. What are your goals as you start your career at Argo?

A. My primary goal with Argo is to help grow Argo while further diversifying the verticals Argo's clients can be found in. Having spent extensive time in operations and client services at call centers, I'd also like to help senior management tackle challenges that can stand in the way of growth or profitability, leveraging my experiences working at other call centers. I'm also happy to take on challenges that are unique to Argo and work with department heads to continue building a company offering best in class type service for our client's customers, taking great pride in what we do.

Q. What is your favorite part about living in Savannah, GA?

A. The rich history of Savannah, the climate (sub-tropical as it is), and proximity to the ocean are my favorite parts of living in Savannah. Having lived in Connecticut for 38 years, I enjoy being able to participate in warm weather outdoor activities year round. It's also nice to have ocean temperatures that can reach the upper 80s so going to the beach can include going in the water, which I did very rarely while living in Connecticut. If you're looking for a great vacation destination, Savannah has a lot to offer, so let me know you're visiting and I can tell you where to eat!

Q. Tell us something about you that we don't know.

A. I'm an avid motorcyclist, play the drums (though that won't be a career anyone will pay me to pursue!), love sports (as a participant and fan), am health conscious, and enjoy rock concerts. Most importantly, I'm a divorced dad who is focused on providing the best possible future for my son and enjoying the ride.
