Dear Gunners (Readers) -

WELCOME TO AIRBURST NO 22- 201 6,
 

That time of year is with us again. The Annual General Meeting is with us again. See the details in the following box.. This Airburst will be a short one as it will serve as a notice for the AGM.

Good news for the Reserve Gunners-the Chief  of Army has endorsed the creation of a RAA Regiment in 2 Division to command the all the Light Batteries currently within the Infantry Battalions. This is great news as it will, amongst other things, enable  greater technical competence, improve RAA identity, ensure Divisional and Brigade commanders are better informed about joint fires matters, and very importantly enable a career path for Reserve Gunner Officers.

On the 10th April the ANZAC Centennial Gun Team visited Harden for its Annual Show. To say that the weather was unkind is an understatement.  It was truly through mud to muddier fields beyond. The photos below illustrate the fun had by all

AGM20162016 Annual General Meeting
 
The Royal Australian Artillery Historical Company will hold its 2016 Annual General Meeting on Saturday 15th October 2016 at the Sydney Harbour Federation Trust Headquarters' Board Room, 28 Best Avenue, Georges Heights 2088 commencing at 1030 hours.

 Members can also contact the Honorary Secretary to offer apologies, items for the AGM or nominations by emailing raahcoffice@gmail.com
