Chamber Business Mixer

Brenda Clarke, Chamber President Alana Newton, Peter Richmond

Many thanks to Brenda Clarke ~ Oyster Bay Beach House and Peter Richmond ~ 49th Parallel Grocery for their generous Sponsorship of our Business Mixer on Sept 13th.  Beautiful weather, magnificent venue and top notch appy spread paved the way for a fantastic Business Mixer.

Another highlite to the evening were our special guests, Mayor Aaron Stone and our new City Manager,  Guillermo Ferrero.  Thank you both for your time and sharing with us.   The excitement and enthusiasm for the future of Ladysmith was very much present.

Tour de Rock ~ Adopt a Rider Program

The Ladysmith Downtown Business Association is helping to sponsor the 2016 Tour de Rock 'Adopt a Rider' Program again this year.

They are looking for sponsors to adopt each of the 17 TDR 2016 riders for $75.

The majority of this money goes to Cops for Cancer, which funds paediatric cancer research as well as sending kids with a history of cancer along with their families to Camp Goodtimes - where they get to be 'kids' for a week!   A small portion pays for the riders dinner at the Ladysmith Red Serge dinner, held on October 3rd.

Your sponsorship also gets you a sign with you/your businesses name and your adopted riders name printed on, that can be held up by you or a volunteer that welcomes the riders into town on October 3rd, and a picture taken with your rider.  READ MORE
