CMH Annual Breast Cancer Education Lunch and Learn 

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) will host a free Lunch and Learn seminar on breast cancer education on Friday, Oct. 7 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the CMH Community Rooms, located at 1500 N. Oakland in Bolivar. “Fight Breast Cancer Before It Starts: A Look Into Recent Trends and Risk Factors” will be presented by Laura Ross, PA-C, on staff at Central Care Cancer Center located at the Carrie J. Babb Cancer Center at CMH.

 Ross received her bachelor of science in sports medicine and athletic training from Missouri State University (MSU), Springfield, and worked in that field for nearly 15 years. She completed a master of science in health promotion and wellness management as well as a master of science in physician assistant studies from MSU. Ross is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants as well as in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) by the American Heart Association.

Ross specializes in the treatment and management of all cancer types, blood disorders, leukemias and lymphomas. She is a member of the Missouri Academy of Physician Assistants as well as the American Academy of Physician Assistants.

 A light lunch will be served and reservations are requested.
