Chemical Bank provides valuable support for Diabetic Education Program


 Thanks to  a generous donation  from  Chemical Bank , low-income,  uninsured residents who lack access to health care will recieve diabetic s upport, resources, and education. 

S ervices include health assessments,  progress tracking, 
nutrition and fitness guidance, and A1C testing to measure the effectiveness of current diabetes treatments. 
Patients are given supplies to help monitor their daily glucose levels such as test strips, monitors, syringes and lancets free of charge.

Funding will help provide diabetes education events that are free and open to the public, including the annual Diabetes Alert Day. 

 
HFHC Dental Program welcomes new volunteer dentist: Dr. Lowell Swartz

We are excited to announce the addition of a new volunteer dentist who will see patients once a week! 

Dr. Lowell Swartz will be joining the 25 local dentists, 13 dental assistants, and 10 hygienists dedicated to providing much-needed dental care to the local underserved.

On Wednesday, September 20, HFHC will be offering FREE flu shot vaccines provided by  Walgreens.
