It's a busy September! Check out the amazing line-up of events for you at the Newman Centre this month and some exciting ones in October. 

Our cover photo this month is of our Student Campus Ministry Team (missing Ania, who had a class) with our Associate Director of Campus Outreach, Erin Kinsella (lower row, centre right), who will offer you a warm welcome along with many other student volunteers at Newman. 
Our hours are 9 am - 9 pm, so come by, get involved, make new friends, study in our library or pray in our beautiful chapel. 

We have Mass every day along with Confession before every Mass. [Mon - Fri: 12:15 pm; Sat: 9:30 am (Rosary at 9 am); Sun: 11 am & 7 pm] 
PRAY AND PLAY
Pray and Play is back on Tuesday, September 20th. An hour of Eucharistic Adoration at 7:30 pm and then board games and treats in the house. All welcome. 
NEWMAN HOURS
The Newman Centre is open from 9 am - 9 pm Monday - Friday. Come by for a coffee, to relax in the house or study and read in our library.  See website for chapel hours
SOUP & BAGEL LUNCH 
Great news! Newman's Soup and Bagel $3 lunch is back on Tuesday, September 20th. Join us from 12:45 - 2 pm for the cheapest lunch on campus.
Welcome BBQ - Friday, September 16, 2016
Join us for a Welcome BBQ  on Friday, September 16th  after Mass from 12:45 - 2 pm at the Newman Centre. We will be located near the St. George Street side of the house.

Women's Group at Newman
Women's Group
We will once again be starting up our women's group at the Newman Centre! Each week we will discuss a different topic, pray the Rosary and possibly have guest speakers.

Topics include: vocation, prayer, virtue and Marian devotion. This is a great opportunity to grow in closeness with our Lord and with sisters in Christ.

Exploring Divine Mercy

We begin by reading an excerpt from St. Faustina's diary in the Chapel and meditating on the reading, and end by praying the Divine Mercy Chaplet.
