History was made in Hawaii this week.
The IUCN World Conservation Congress is
h
eld once every four years since it's founding in 1948.
This is the first time the United States has been given the honor of hosting this international event.
The IUCN World Conservation Congress brought together 10,000 leaders and decisions-makers from government, civil society, indigenous peoples, business, and academia, with the goal of conserving the environment and developing solutions to global challenges.
This was the very first time that youth programs for the IUCN Congress.
