Dear Parents and Students,
I hope everyone enjoyed Orientation 2016, during which we inaugurated our theme for the year:
Voices. Together, this year, we will strive to cherish and celebrate each student's unique voice; to listen carefully to one another's voices; and to use our own voices to advocate for the "voiceless."
Special thanks to Sr. Virginia, Ms. Vargas, and Anne's Leaders for all they did to prepare for orientation. Thanks, also, to Deztynee' Rivera '17, Mr. Stordeur, and the Student Council for pairing our ninth graders with Senior Sisters. And brava, Ms. Lindvall, for the creation of a beautiful Alma Mater for our school, the words of which are as follows:
Notre Dame; Chez Nous
On West 13th, where Chez Nous stands
We join together, hand in hand
We grasp much knowledge with heads held high at Notre Dame.
As sisters one, we bond with love
With heart and strength, we rise above
And Anne's values will guide on our way.
We lead with honor and loyalty
And celebrate diversity
Forevermore, Notre Dame, Chez Nous.
With appreciation,
Jackie Brilliant
Principal
