Picture Day

Picture day is on Monday, September 19th.
SSC Members & Point Loma Cluster Foundation Representatives Needed

Ballots for our School Site Council (SSC) and Point Loma Cluster Foundation representative were sent home with students last week.  Please fill out the ballot and return it to your child's teacher or main office by September 20th.

Sponsorships have closed. Thank you to everyone who sponsored the 2016 jog-a-thon.

Now the fun begins...pledge collections begins now!

We're once again collecting online donations. For online donations:
  • Go to https://99pledges.com/fund/2016lomaportaljogathon
  • Enter student's first name in the 'search for participant' box. Last initial or classroom if there is more than one. i.e. Jack L 
  • Pledges can be an upfront flat donation (e.g. $25 for the whole event) or per lap donation (e.g. $2/lap).

Weekly Contest:
  1. September 14-18th (Wednesday-thru Sunday) - all students who make their goal (online) will be entered into drawing for Padres Prize Pack. Two field-level tickets to agreed-upon game, signed baseball and free-bees.

Overall Prizes:

T-shirt sponsorships do not count towards prizes provided during pledge drive, but will count toward Ice Cream social. All students who raise $250 are invited to the Ice Cream Social, Dec. 1 st. check out our other amazing   prizes and contests. 
  1. Two Grand Prizes - One winner Recreational Music Center Birthday Party; and one winner Renee Hassan Photography Session
To be eligible: The top fundraiser from each class entered for drawing.

Morning Assembly 

We will have a morning assembly on Monday, September 26th, right after the morning bell.  Please ensure your child arrives to school on time.

Lunch Application

Please Complete Your Lunch Application and Help Support Our School.  Did you know that the number of lunch applications completed by parents impacts our school budget?  We encourage you to complete one even if you are unsure if you qualify.  You can complete your lunch application online.  Please visit www.sandiegounified.org/food-nutrition-services
 
New Choice Application Window 

This is a reminder that the Choice application window for 2017-18 will begin on October 3, 2016 and close on November 14, 2016.  This is a change from prior years.  For more information, contact Neighborhood Schools and Enrollment Options at (619) 260-2410.

 
Birthday Bucks at the Donation Station

Celebrate your child's birthday at school with...Birthday Bucks!  Your child can pass out these special coupons so classmates can pick out their own treat at the Donation Station (Thursdays at 12:35pm).  Each Birthday Buck is $1 each and are available for purchase at the Donation Station.
