Enjoy a side-splittingly hilarious show at Reinhardt's beautiful Falany Performing Arts Center while helping to empower young women.
 
Tennessee native Leanne Morgan is bringing her comedy show to Waleska to help raise funds for the University's new leadership program for women. The Reinhardt Women's Leadership Program is aimed at empowering young women and giving them opportunity to interact with successful, strong women from across the state of Georgia. Inaugural Clay Shooting Classic, Oct. 14, to benefit student success scholarships for athletes

Seeking a new and innovative way to raise funds for student-athlete scholarships, Reinhardt University created its Inaugural Clay Shooting Classic set for October.

"Our student-athletes give their all day-after-day in class, on the practice field and during games," said RU Athletic Director Bill Popp. "The inaugural Clay Shooting Classic gives an alternative exciting fundraising event of which you can be a part. The money raised helps our current and future student-athletes offset the costs of earning their postsecondary education." ... Read More

It's not too late to register for the 5K

The 2nd Annual 5K for ADay will be held Sept. 17 in downtown Canton's Cannon Park.

Registration costs $30 for adults and $15 for children younger than 12. Those who cannot run but wish to participate can Support a Student with a $25 donation.

Funk Heritage Center to participate in Museum Day Live!

Museum Day Live! is an annual event hosted by Smithsonian Magazine, and the Funk Heritage Center of Reinhardt University is participating again this year. During the nationwide event, participating museums offer free entrance anyone presenting a Museum Day Live! ticket on Saturday, Sept. 24. 

One ticket is permitted for each household, per e-mail address. Those joining persons entering for free will be charged the regular Funk Heritage Museum entry fee of $6. Download your ticket at smithsonian.com/museumdaylive. Printed tickets or tickets presented on a mobile device will be honored. As always, Reinhardt faculty, staff and students can attend at no cost with their ID card.

Reinhardt named NAIA Silver Five-Star Institution

Reinhardt University has been named an NAIA Champions of Character Five-Star Silver Institution for 2015-16 by the NAIA. The designation is given to schools who reach a certain threshold on the NAIA Champions of Character scorecard.

"We are very excited to earn Five-Star recognition from the NAIA," said RU Director of Athletics  Bill Popp. "This award is really a tribute to our coaches and student-athletes who play on the field and work off the field by the NAIA's 'Live 5' characteristics for life."

In 2014-15, Reinhardt was a Bronze institution. In 2015-16, the Eagles moved up to the Silver designation, scoring in a range from 75-89 on the NAIA Champions of Character scorecard.  ...   Read More
