EPICentre Annual Report 2015 - 2016

A Message From The Executive Director:

"I'm excited to provide you with the first EPIC Annual Report for 2015-2016 activities. The Entrepreneurship Practice and Innovation Centre (EPICentre) at the University of Windsor is a campus-wide initiative created to encourage entrepreneurship on campus and to support students and graduates from all disciplines interested in launching their own businesses.

We have grown substantially since opening the EPIC Innovation space in January 2015 and continue to offer support to students and graduates through various programming, funding opportunities, mentorship, competitions and research. We have different levels of engagement open to the campus community:
  • Initial access to workshops, networking events, and clubs,
  • Discovery membership, providing mentoring and hot space to early stage youth venture ideas,
  • Founders Program membership, providing funding, mentoring, programming, and hot space to pre-revenue youth ventures,
  • Incubation membership, providing mentoring, programming, discounted leasable dedicated space and access to hot space in incubators in Toronto and internationally for youth and industry partners.
Going forward, we will continue to offer support and promote entrepreneurial activities on campus. I am honoured to be leading the EPICentre with such an amazing team and proud of our EPIC community's accomplishments."

Introducing See Farms

See Farms sells high-end custom cuts of meat products that are  pesticide , antibiotic and hormone-free, sold directly to health-conscious consumers and delivered straight to the customer's door. Their goal is to find small farmers who still exist within Ontario and who are producing healthy food, then bringing that food directly to the consumer.  Furthermore, they want to educate the consumer with respect to what is in their food and how their products compare to what is already out there in the marketplace.
