(in collaboration with the Olympic Culinary Loop)
Location: At Fort Worden in the Commons

Noon – 1:30 pm The Olympic Culinary Loop kicks off the Tourism Summit with its semi-annual “Lunch and Learn.” Following a delicious lunch celebrating fresh, regional products prepared by the talented culinary team at Fort Worden, learn from local experts about what it takes to run a culinary tourism business.

“The Man Who Thought He Was a Bee”

  • Location: Meet at the Finnriver Orchard parking lot in Chimacum
  • Tour of Red Dog Farm with points about conservation of farmland, end with tasting at Finnriver Cider Garden.  Host: Kenn Mann

“Geocaching in Port Townsend and at Fort Worden”

  • Location: Meet at the Fort Worden Commons
  • Host: Mary Brelsford, Olympic Peninsula Visitor Bureau

5 pm “Tastes from Around the Olympic Peninsula”

  • Location: Houses on Officer’s Row at Fort Worden
  • Visit each house for a taste of regional chefs’ signature dishes using local, fresh ingredients and paired with wines, ciders, brews and spirits from Olympic Peninsula producers. Participating restaurants, and their chefs, include:
