Countdown to the 5K 

The 5K is this Saturday - and we're looking forward to a beautiful morning! If you've registered for the race, you'll receive information this week on where to pick up your packet. Your packet will include your t-shirt, number and running chip (if you're participating in the 5K). If you haven't registered, you may register online until 3:00pm Friday here .

Arrive by 7:40 a.m. if you're planning to participate in the 1 mile Fun Run. Just follow the bridge from Prairie's playground to 66th Street where the race will begin right at 8:00 a.m..

Then make your way to the 5K starting line on 67th Street - the race will begin at 8:30 a.m..

There's still time to get in some extra practice before race day! Our last two Running Club sessions are this week from 3:15-4:00 p.m. on:
  • Tuesday, 9/20
  • Thursday, 9/22
And, we can always use volunteers the day of the race! If you'd like to be a race monitor, man a table or help out in other ways please contact Liz Beedle.

Chick-Fil-A dining night Thursday

Treat the family to the State Line Chick-Fil-A location ( 8551 State Line Rd.) this Thursday from 3:30-8:30 p.m. Dine-in or drive-thru, just mention Prairie and 20% of your order total goes right back to Prairie.

It couldn't be easier!

Picture day is this Thursday

Whether your student likes to pick out a special outfit for the occasion or treat it like any other day-remind your student to smile pretty!

We're looking for four volunteers to help walk classes back and forth and help keep the day running smoothly. Please contact Kelly Morgester if you'd like to help.

5th Grade Class Party this Week

The Auction is Prairie's largest fundraiser of the year, and it kicks off with individual class parties. These parties are a great way to meet other parents in your student's grade, and helps jump start the fundraising process.

Be watching your email for an evite with specific details for your party (be sure to check your SPAM folder just in case the email isn't delivered).
