September 16, 2016
Dear Colleague,

We have a number of exciting upcoming activities. On October 17-19, 2016 in Washington, DC, we are running a workshop on how to write effective proposals for grants and awards from US funding agencies. This will be a very practical session that will strengthen your ability to compete for these funding opportunities.

Our first ever Member Outreach webinar will take place on September 28 noon- 1pm EST, ( register below). We look forward to sharing what we are doing and getting your feedback on how we can be of greater service to you and your institution. Mark your calendar and join us.

Please see www.CUGH.org to learn about the latest on our 2017 conference which will take place in Washington DC, April 7-9, 2017 (satellites April 6). The conference's theme is Healthy People, Healthy Ecosystems. Panel proposals and abstract submissions can be made online. Once again we are extremely grateful to the Annals of Global Health for agreeing to publish the conference's poster abstracts and the Lancet Global Health for publishing the oral poster presentations.

If your institution is interested in being an exhibitor at our conference venue for a potential job fair where you can meet prospective employees on April 6th, 2017 please send us an email at [email protected] with your contact information.

Lastly, if you are a CUGH member institution and would like to highlight your institution's work in this bulletin please send a short, under 200 word brief with links and photos to [email protected].

Please help us spread the word and share this bulletin with your networks widely.

Thank you.

Best wishes,
