Construction crews are making significant progress on the bridge over I-71.
Socialville-Fosters Road will be widened to five lanes from Innovation Way to Columbia Road, and the bridge over I-71 will be replaced. A pedestrian walkway will also be built.
Additional travel lanes on Socialville-Fosters Road will help to ease congestion for local and business traffic moving through this high-traffic area.
Work at Socialville-Fosters supports regional infrastructure improvements
We recognize that there is quite a bit of local construction activity taking place in this area, but it is all part of a coordinated regional plan taking place in southwest Warren County. The new roundabout is one of the several improvements on Socialville-Fosters Road that will support access and the flow of traffic in this growing hub of economic activity.
The Socialville-Fosters Road/Innovation Way roundabout will be a four-legged roundabout with the southern leg being built in anticipation of the extension of Innovation Way south from Socialville-Fosters Road to Duke Boulevard (construction estimated to begin in 2017). The roundabout is expected to improve the flow of traffic, increase safety and access and reduce congestion.
