Get ready to dust off that costume and suit up!
Clark Street's eighth annual Spooktacular
is returning next month. One of our favorite community celebrations brings together kids, parents, goblins, and ghouls for a fun and candy-filled day of trick-or-treating, costume contests, and live performers.

If you haven't started planning your individual or group costume for the annual Spooktacular halloween costume contest, now is the time to start! Last year's competition was fun and fierce and we're sure this year's contestants are planning more top-notch costumes!

Our favorite shops and restaurants along Clark and Diversey in Lincoln Park will once again be creating festive Halloween scenes for Scarecrows on Parade this autumn! Make plans to do some shopping or grab a bite and take a stroll down the block during the month of October in search of the Spookiest, Funniest, and Most Creative scarecrows. You will surely laugh, be frightened, and amazed!
Voting begins on Saturday, October 8 and will run until
Spooktacular on Sunday, October 30. Scarecrows will remain on display through Halloween.

A Grand, Grand Opening!
Clark Street in Lincoln Park and the Lincoln Park Chamber of Commerce (LPCC) were so excited to be a part of the opening celebrations at HopCat - Chicago (2577 N. Clark)! The lines were long, folks were even lined up beginning at 5:00am to celebrate, and it was a beautiful day for a grand opening at HopCat - Chicago. Swing by today to learn more about the new space!

The Chicago Marathon Returns to Clark Street
The 39th Annual Bank of America Chicago Marathon is returning to parts of Clark Street on Sunday, October 9! There will be large crowds in the neighborhood cheering for the runners, as well as parking and crossing restrictions throughout the area. For more information and a map of the full course,
