As summer comes to a close and we prepare to gather in New York City for this year's Diversity Week, it is my pleasure to announce two dynamic keynoters confirmed for the
30th Annual NAMIC Conference. On Tuesday, September 20, author and businessman,
Reggie Love will headline the opening general session of this year's conference. Also highlighting Tuesday's agenda will be the
L. Patrick Mellon Mentorship Program Luncheon, featuring special guest keynoter, ABC News Anchor,
Elizabeth Vargas.
At just 35 years old, Reggie is a Millennial that has amassed a very distinctive resume as the former Special Assistant and Personal Aide to President Barack Obama. Presently, Reggie serves as Vice President and Partner at RON Transatlantic Advisors, a diversified holding company. Reggie will discuss "White House Lessons" learned while assisting the President and what he calls his proven five P's of leadership: Perspective, Preparation, Persistence, Passion and Patience. Reggie's address will offer timely lessons on crisis management, collaboration and leadership in the 21st century.
An award-winning journalist with an impressive career covering global news and events, currently, Elizabeth is the Co-Anchor of "20/20." Elizabeth will discuss her compelling career, the role that mentors have played in her success and her new book,
Between Breaths: A Memoir of Panic and Addiction.
