After a very busy year with trips, courses and events, September has brought a minor respite, a pause if you like, before the cycle begins again. The logistics are soon to be reset, where by normally vans, kayaks and paddles all stored away in Slovenia, ready for March and our 2017 trips. However this autumn much of the gear is heading to Devon for several new projects, one of which you can read about below. En route from Slovenia, Simon will be working at PADDLEexpo in Germany, the european paddlesports trade show, and will reveal all few highlights in our October news. Jake has been out in Russia for the summer and started several filming projects, some of which has focused on his paragliding pursuits. Jakub has been training towards his annual Sickline racing push here in Norway, and Deb has been sea kayak gliding for a few months in between her research projects. Currently Bonney is seeing out the final days of the season in Slovenia, after another great "Soča All Summer Long" programme.
It looks like quite an acemedic up take of late at Gene17Kayaking, with Simon joining Chris on a DProf at UCLAN, Deb mid way through her PhD and Bonney about to start the final year of his Bachelors degree. Below we have our autumn programme outlined, and some exciting news. More news will come in a few days on another exciting development that we see Gene17Kayaking open up to a wide scope of paddlers. Until then, happy paddling.
