Weekly Minyans
Sundays, 9AM

The Talmud is the foundational text upon which all modern forms of Judaism stand. Come explore, spar with, and make meaning of this sacred book. Open to all learners. Hebrew text is provided but class discussions will be based on English translation. Every Monday after minyan (time will vary on holidays).

This year's Selichot Community Service & Program is being hosted at Anshai Torah and sponsored by the Jewish Theological Seminary & Dallas Conservative congregations. Featured speaker is Dr. Amy Kalmanofsky, Assistant Professor of Bible at the Jewish Theological Seminary. Includes Communal Havdallah Service * Learning Session entitled "Hannah's Sacrifice. The unique and powerful role of sacrifice, teaching us how to engage with God" * Changing colorful Torah mantles to white * Selichot Service * Dessert reception and waffle bar. Co-Sponsored by the Hereld Institute for Jewish Studies of the Jewish Theological Seminary and Congregations Anshai Torah, Beth Torah, and Shearith Israel.

CLEANING SANCTUARY & TORAH SILVER

MENTAL HEALTH SERIES
Join Alan Koenigsberg, M.D. as he breaks down the barriers of mental illnesses, builds understanding of their impact, and overviews common supports. Rabbi Zelony and CBT Social Action want to thank all who have donated and will be volunteering for Feeding Children Everywhere event. For your efforts 65,000 meal will be packaged: 42,000 will go to Richardson Ministries, 2,000 meals to Care Ministries in the South Dallas area, 1,000 meals to Richardson East Church of Christ food pantry, and 20,000 meals will go to Syrian refugees in the Middle East. JEWISH & CHRISTIAN STUDY

A unique interfaith study group of Jews and Christians. We are learning about each other as we study primary source texts (Bible, Mishnah) together. We've spent the last year studying the Mishnah, and the Talmud in the context of the development of Judaism in the post Temple period. We are now looking at the development of early Christianity during the same period. Bring a Bible.

BEIT MIDRASH I & II

The traditional place for Torah study is a Beit Midrash which means "House of Seeking." Small groups gather to seek wisdom from inside Jewish texts. You can join Rabbi Zelony (The Book of Samuel) and Beri Schwitzer (Insights of Dr. Avivah Zorenberg on the Torah) at both 7PM and 8PM as they rotate through both sessions.

For the months of August and September, CBT will be leasing our Education wing to a UTD group who will utilize the classrooms on both floors until their permanent space is ready. While their classes are in session, Monday to Friday, 8AM to 5PM, the Member's Lounge on the first floor will be closed. TOT SHABBAT
2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month at 11AM (MPR)

Our Congregational Learning Center (CLC) is collecting empty ink cartridges as a fundraiser. Collection boxes are located outside of the CLC office and in the front lobby. Cartridges should be in a Ziploc bag when dropped off.
