A guide to key dates and milestones on your child's faith journey

Welcome message from Anne Lowrance

Dear Parents:

Prayers and best wishes to your family at the start of a new school year.
You may recall the children's song, "The more we get together, together, together, the more we get together, the happier we'll be..."

At Covenant, our village of teachers, small group leaders, shepherds,  song leaders and greeters come together to lift up our young people as they discover God's transforming love.

I hope you will walk with us as we find God here, together, at Covenant Presbyterian.

Youth can serve as Bible carriers, candle lighters and more

Each Sunday, youth are invited to help lead worship in the 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. sanctuary services. We hope every youth in the below grades will serve at least once in the fall and spring.  Click here to learn more and sign up.
  • At 9:30, 4th-5th graders light the Christ candle and fill our baptismal font with water.
  • At 11:00, 8th graders carry the Bible into the sanctuary and offer the prayer of dedication after the offering, while 9th graders carry our cross in and out of the sanctuary.
Parents - we need your help, too

We're seeking parent volunteers to help us oversee our 2 nurseries and 9 children's Sunday School classes. If one parent per child gives 1 hour, 1 Sunday per year, the needs will be met.

New this year: we will assign parents to assist as greeters, shepherds, and hall or nursery assistants through Volunteer Spot, an online sign up tool.  You will have the opportunity to accept or swap out your date/time. Watch for an email with details.

This new approach will help us to strengthen the sense of community among our children and families - a hallmark of Covenant's education program.
