Welcome!
Our 2016-2017 Season of Milwaukee Children's Choir is in full swing!  I has been wonderful to see all of the returning students and to see so many new faces in the choirs as well!  This season promises to be an exciting season filled with excellent singing, music education, new tour opportunities, concerts, and opportunities to make great new friendships!  

Each week, please make sure to read through this newsletter as it will always have VERY important information that you will need for planning.  This newsletter will always be the most up-to-date place to find out new information about what is happening in MCC, including a link to your choir's page & calendar. I am excited for the season ahead!!

Back-to-Choir Parent Meetings, Fall 2016
A parent meeting will take place at each rehearsal site in September. Meetings will include important information about our season, an opportunity to purchase gently used uniforms, and a Q & A session with MCC's administrative team. New MCC families are required to attend this meeting.  Additionally, parents and singers will have an opportunity to chat with their choir director during the last 30 minutes of the rehearsal on their parent meeting night.  Please see your child's choir calendar on your child's choir's webpage linked below for specific dates and times for the meetings.


Lake Country Children's Choir to Begin in October!
Lake Country Children's Choir is a new satelite choral program of Milwaukee Children's Choir for students in grades 4-8.  Do you know a child who loves to sing and who lives in the Lake Country?  Encourage them to audition for Lake Country Children's Choir today!  For more information, click on the link below.

  • Saturday, September 17th  MCC will be hosting a Choral Conference for area music teachers with Dr. Doreen Rao
     
  • Saturday, October 1st the entire Prelude, Training, and Resident choirs have a retreat at Mt Carmel Lutheran Church, Wauwatosa. Details are listed in each choir's calendar, located on each choir's respective webpage listed above.
    • Prelude (9 a.m.-12 p.m.)
    • Training (9 a.m.-2 p.m.)
    • Resident (9 a.m.-4 p.m.)
