The 2016 Triangle Open Water Swim Series 1.2 and 2.4 mile Championship will be held on Saturday, October 08 at 8AM.
Location: Vista Point Family Campground at Jordan Lake.
The price increases on Friday, September 09 so don't delay if you plan to join us!
Minimum ages are 12 for the 1.2 mile swims and 14 for the 2.4 mile swims. We can make exceptions for proven youth swimmers.
This race takes place at the Vista Point Boat ramp on Jordan Lake. The mappable address is 3199 North Pea Ridge Road, Pittsboro, NC. Race start time 8AM. 1.2 milers complete 1 triangular loop while 2.4 milers will complete 2 loops.
The water is finally cooling down and we expect temps to be in the mid to low 70s. The swim will most likely be wetsuit legal.

The early entry fees are $30 / $40 for the 1 / 2 miles until 1 month prior to each event, and go up to $37 / 47 after.
Wetsuits are allowed when temps are below 78 degrees. Typically, May and October will be around 70, while July is 81-82.
Custom awards for top 3 overall, top overall male and female master, and top 3 in 5 year age-groups (20-24, 25-29) for each event. No duplication of awards.
We'll also repeat our top 3 overall male/female series awards with 1st place in each race receiving 20 points, through 1 point for 20th place.
We'll post an update on the series points to our Facebook page in a few days.
We'll have post-race drinks and snacks available at each event.

We host bi-weekly open water swim sessions on weeknights from mid-April through September at Jordan Lake.
We off year-round, personalized training programs including group workouts, individual training sessions, constructive feedback, and ongoing advice based on your goals, abilities and time constraints.
We teamed up with All Out Multisport to offer a 10-week, twice a week coached practice group in Raleigh/Cary leading up to a late August kids triathlon in Chapel Hill. in 2017, we'll run a spring and a late summer/fall program.

FS Series is an event production (triathlon duathlon swimming running) and electronic chip timing company based in Raleigh, NC. We held our first multi-sport event in April of 2007 and have grown to over 70 events in just 8 short years.
In 2016, the FS Series Team will produce 70+ events in a variety of sports including triathlons, duathlons, open water swims and various types of running events. The FS Endurance Series is comprised of 11 endurance events held throughout the Raleigh-Durham region.
