THIS SUNDAY: COMMEMORATING SEPTEMBER 11th
LoveLoud 2015: Feeding local fire fighters

This Sunday is the 15th anniversary of 9/11.

We remember the lives lost and celebrate the bravery of those who put it all on the line to rescue, serve, and protect us when emergencies arise. Join us this Sunday as we say "Thank you" to our local first responders. Representatives from various branches will be present as we recognize them and present them with a gift from Shandon Baptist Church.
THIS WEEKEND: "PASS THE LEGACY" GRANDPARENTING SEMINAR
September 11 is Grandparents Day! If you're in the season of raising children, tell your parents about this weekend's "Pass the Legacy" grandparenting seminar!

If you're a grandparent, you have a very special, very specific ministry: you are an integral part of  continuing a legacy of faith in your family. D on't miss this free event, Friday evening & Saturday morning!

Guest speaker Catherine Jacobs (passthelegacy.com) will lead sessions about:

Intentionally investing in your grandchildren
Praying powerfully for your grandchildren
Mending broken relationships
Telling your story

Our next baptism celebration will be Sunday, September 18.  There's no greater celebration than when a new believer declares his or her old life dead and accepts new life in Christ through baptism! If you'd like to speak with a minister about getting baptized in either service on that Sunday, or if you think your child or student may be ready for baptism, click below.
