Welcome Back to School!
Ignite the power and potential of each student!

Welcome to the 2016-2017 School Year!  I hope that everyone had a great summer with experiences to remember for a lifetime.  We are very excited to begin our new school year and the many exciting learning opportunities we will experience together.

In March of 2016, the Board of Education adopted new three year strategic plan for the district.  This strategic plan will guide our district throughout this school year as we work together to bring a one to one student technology program in grades 3-8 to the district by the 2018-2019 school year.  In addition, the district will continue its work to ensure each classroom supports every student in learning the critical knowledge and skills necessary to be successful in high school and beyond.

Our mission to ignite the power and potential of each student is supported by key beliefs in the unique strengths and talents of every child, a safe, secure, and respectful learning atmosphere, an essential partnership between school and home, and the efficient management of district resources.

We look forward to the learning ahead and the many opportunities to support each child in District 20 toward reaching their maximum potential.

Welcome back!

Sincerely,

Dr. Michael Connolly
Superintendent
