Arete Prep Club Fair

Friday, September 2nd

Second Half of MS and HS Lunch

In the Gym

T he club fair will provide both new and returning students with the opportunity to see what clubs are offered. Students will be able to ask questions, learn about clubs, and students will be inspired to get more involved in clubs and the Arete community. Campus Hours

The Prep building will open each morning at 7:20am and will be locked at 4:00pm. Students will not be permitted* to enter the building if the doors are locked.

The Administration building opens each morning at 7:30am and closes at 4:00pm.

*This excludes students who are on campus for sports or clubs. They will be supervised and let into and off of campus by their sport/club leader.

Choir Workshop

This past week we received a visit from Mr. Kevin Newell, a representative of the Phoenix Boys Choir. Mr. Newell gave a 50 minute workshop with the boys in Dr. Minov's choir classes.

Kenyon College (on campus) - Wednesday, August 31 at 2 pm. Get your pass from Ms. Hager or Ms. Arguello.

New Payment System

Arete Prep has a new payment portal for families. It is a "One Stop Shop" format where families are able to purchase books, make book deposits, pay for sports, make donations and much more!

Intermediate Orchestra Offered

Intermediate Orchestra meets Tuesdays from 3:30-4:30 pm in room 111. If you are interested in joining, please contact Ms. Lynch at [email protected].

Coffee Shop Conversations

Coffee Shop Conversations will continue on Wedn esday, August 31st at 8:30am with 6C and 6D. Watch your email for details.

Parent Art Class Offered

Have you ever wanted to learn to draw? Are you blown away by your student's artwork from school? Mr. Smith is offering a parent drawing class that you can come take with him!

The class begins Thursday August 25 at 6:30 pm

in the Arete Prep Art room 112.

There is a $25 materials and instruction fee.

PSO Gift

We are so grateful for our PSO! Because of their generosity, we were able to pave the courtyard during the summer break. In addition to making the courtyard more attractive, this improvement will cut down on dust and allergens, as well as keeping shoes and clothes cleaner.

Drop off & Pick-Up

In order to ensure student safety and our relationship with our neighbors, we will not allow students to cross the parking lot from the east or west. Please use the Arete parking lot traffic flow to drop your students off on the east side of the building.

We are continuing to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the traffic flow to get you on and off the lot in a safe and timely manner.

Homecoming Game

We are still planning how to best have the homecoming game. More to come soon.
