Greetings,
Sending along to you the very best images to you is very important to me because you will not see all of the beauty in objects or art before me, as I do, if the image is not clear. I send you images that are what I call  "internet letter" size which means that I use a "small " image setting on my camera in order to be able to pass through your server, which generally, will has settings to block, for their efficiencies sake, voluminous images or text. If you need more detail, I can send you enlargeable images or reshoot in a larger format if you like.

A delightful late 19th century still life of game, shell fish, fish, vegetables, and game rests on a heavy stone slab table against a stone and mortar wall of a French kitchen. All is painted in oil on canvas in soft pastel tones by a well listed French artist working in what might be termed a "preimpressionist" mode. Unlike so many still lifes of the era that used predominate dark colors, this bold and colorful piece is brilliant in its tones. The style adopts an early Dutch still life format and includes the black and gilt molded frame in the same taste. Ex Sotheby's NYC. Frame 69" x 76", image 50.5" x 78.5". Minor restoration. Please call or email for images and artist biography. In the last few days, this has received great attention and approval by visitors. It must be seen in person!
This elegant Prussian blue pair of Meissen urns is marked with the famous crossed swords mark in blue under the base. Of the early to mid 19th century, the urns demonstrate full neoclassicism with snake form handles, egg and dart moldings, fluting, gilding, and the baluster form.
Historically, serpents and snakes represent fertility or a creative life force. As snakes shed their skin through sloughing, they are symbols of rebirth, transformation, immortality, and healing.
I can find no damage or repairs. They have significant height at 19" and 12.5" width. Authentic and impressive at $1295.

An English Sheraton shelves and sheet music stand, this tall and slender piece begs to be filled with your collections or books. mahogany, early 1800s. Normal evidences of age. H. 66", w. 19", d. 19". $1195.
