The Wine Connection - Fine & Rare Wine Merchants
The Great Boudin Chablis Fourchaume 2015 is in the country!

I don't think this wine needs an introduction at this point. Over 100 cases of 2014 sold and so many ultra-happy customers. If you have bought the wine, you know what I am talking about it. You're not going to find many white Burgundies this good, for $25, period. Not going to happen. In fact, this wine runs circles around most others selling for $75.

I've had clients who routinely drink the creme de la creme of white Burgundy, and they have bought 5+ cases of the 2014. it is that good.

Now, onto the 2015, the positives are many. Boudin fashioned a 2015 that retains the zest, lift, freshness and acidity, but with a bit more flesh supplied by the vintage. What a fantastic combo!

And, the price remained the same, which considering how sad the 2016 situation is, this makes for a virtual no-brainer. Buy as much as you can, because there will likely be little or no 2016 at all.

Arriving week after Labor Day.

Very Highly Recommended, Not To Be Missed!

Boudin Chablis Fourchaume
Fourchaume is always the most approachable and easiest to appreciate of all the Premier Crus. In 2015, the vintage burst of heat supplies the flesh and ripeness, but Boudin keeps that fresh, zesty, lively acidity that we want in a great Chablis. . The 35 year old vines at Boudin are really singing here and the wine is as good as anything from the neighboring vineyards of Monte de Tonnerre (which routinely sell for three times as much or more)

S pecial Price! $299 per case ($24.91 per bottle)

Amazing Italian Discovery!

Let's start with this: WOW!!

The old world meets the new world. A superb blend of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo and Primitivo, this fabulous wine is the result of a collaboration between Amedeo De Luca and American Ralph Falbo. From the impressive packaging, heavy, big glass bottle, wrapped in paper, to the wine's rich personality, it has it all. After tasting it, I was extremely impressed. The Primitivo supplies the richness and plushness, while the Montepulciano brings in the backbone, tannin and edge. It is a fantastic marriage!
