Members should be on the lookout for a letter detailing a change in FCI's security measures to protect your financial information and assets while decreasing the likelihood of fraudulent access to loan information and funds.

Connect with Your Local Office Today
Attention Facebook fans - you can now connect directly with your regional office. Farm Credit Illinois has launched local pages for each of the 14 offices.
- Go to FCI's main Facebook page and click the "Locations" tab to reveal a map
- In the search bar, enter the name of the city where your local office is located
- A pinned location will appear on the map; click the pin to navigate to the local page
- LIKE your regional office's page and start receiving updates in your News Feed on local Farm Credit and agriculture news, stories, auction listings, and more

Applications Accepted Until October 6
Do you know a college student interested in an internship program to learn more about the ag lending and crop insurance industries? FCI will hire up to four summer interns to participate in a 12-week internship program dedicated to developing a knowledge of credit and financial services, an appreciation of agriculture and serving rural committees, and enhancing interpersonal and professional skills. Meet the Owners of Sasse's Apiary
Nathan and Beth Sasse own and operate Sasse's Apiary in Chestnut where they produce pure, local, and raw honey products. What began as Nathan's one hive 4-H project has grown into an operation hosting 300 hives in both McLean and Logan Counties. Ag Economy Barometer
Producer Sentiment Strengthens to 112
The Ag Economy Barometer measures the health of the U.S. agriculture economy with an index value based on a survey of agricultural producers on economic sentiment. A score of 100 means producer sentiment is unchanged from the six-month baseline research period; a score higher than 100 means sentiment improved from the base period; a score lower than 100 means sentiment declined versus the base period.

Staff in the Spotlight
Meet Justin Knobloch, Regional Manager in Red Bud
Justin grew up in Maeystown (Monroe County) on a Hereford cattle and hay operation. He graduated from St. Louis University with a degree in economics before completing his Master's degree from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. He worked for nine years with Rabo AgriFinance before beginning his career with FCI as the regional manager designate at the Red Bud regional office in 2015. He became the regional manager following the retirement of 42-year veteran JoAnn Vosse on August 15. Justin and his wife Kristin have a son and daughter - Mason (2) and Audrey (3 months) and reside in Columbia.
