July was filled with extraordinary programming from Extension staff and volunteers in Currituck County. From canning to camps, soybeans to service learning and everything in between, it was an exciting and very busy month!
Tucker Melton, from Currituck County attended the seventh annual North Carolina Association of County Commissioners (NCACC) Youth Summit, which was held in Winston Salem, North Carolina Aug. 12-13, 2016. This initiative aims to overcome the mindset that many youth are disengaged and lack trust in government.
