Giving is a way of gaining great personal power. There are three different kinds:
1. Ordinary Giving: I give you what I like...I like a book I'm reading, so I give you that book. You are certainly creating a presence in someone's life, but your power is limited.
2. Informed Giving: I give you something that you want...You like sunglasses so I give you a pair of sunglasses. It will be perceived as you caring more, and in fact, you are.
3. Kingly Giving: I give you something that you need, no more, no less...You need to get into this audition; I know someone who can get you in and I make that happen. It is by far the most powerful form of giving, and in fact, the experience that people have when receiving this giving is that of being loved.

Giving is an expression of your power. It is also a pathway to make a friend or bring someone closer to you. Give on every level and you'll succeed.

PARADOX GIFT CERTIFICATES
Want to practice Kingly Giving? We are now offering Paradox Process gift certificates that can be used toward a private session or an upcoming workshop. This could be an opportunity for someone you love to unlock their passions or to rid them of everything standing in the way of their potential! It might be the most important gift you give this holiday season.

A HAWAIIAN CURSE...
Thousands of pounds of rocks stolen from Hawaii are returned by mail each year. Why you may ask?  Because former tourists fear their recent misfortunes are caused by a wrathful goddess. The curse, as propagated by guidebooks and online tourism sites, states that the goddess Pele will bring bad luck to anyone who removes anything from around her volcanoes. While there is no scientific proof that taking lava rocks back to Manhattan will cause you to fall and break a leg or  lose your job,  ordinary people still get really spooked. When they start to mentally link something bad with the fact that they took something they knew they probably shouldn't have, they rush to make amends.  The volume of returned rocks and sand back to Hawaii is so large that the postal service and park services are burdened by the task. Most believe park rangers, attempting to prevent tourists from stealing, originated the modern myth. Native Hawaiians, however, take the matter quite seriously believing that thieves are stealing Pele's children and visitors are not honoring the land.
