Welcome to the Jungle of Books!
Ends September 5
It's not too late to join Wilton Library this summer for our Welcome to the Jungle of Books Summer Reading Program! Children can register on Wandoo Reader, an online reading log to keep track of their reading anywhere they go as long as they have an Internet connection. By reading and then logging in, kids will be eligible for benchmark prizes throughout the summer. Summer Reading runs from June 15 - September 5. Thanks to our Summer Reading Sponsors: Scoops, Subway, and The Toy Chest.

Miss Shayna recommends The Night Gardener by Terry Fan
When you read a lot of picture books you end up seeing the same plots, morals, and characters over and over again.
The Night Gardener is a refreshing change from current picture books. From start to finish the book is enchanting and the illustrations depict a place I would love to walk into. You will find yourself enjoying the trees trimmed to look like owls, dragons, and other animals, and wondering who is the mysterious gardener. This is by far my favorite new picture book!
