Our cars are kept clean by the combined efforts of our Fleet Coordinator Erik and an awesome crew of Car Captain member volunteers. This is a 2x/month commitment to take a car for a wash and vac at East Hill Plaza. $10 driving credit is given for each carwash.
Captains are currently needed for East Hill locations only.
Contact Erik
if you are interested.

Pardon our dust
Due to the drought in Tompkins County, we have recently suspended regular car washes to aid in water conservation efforts. Interior cleanings are still taking place. The exterior may be a bit dustier than normal. Let us know if you find a car in unsatisfactory condition.

Saying farewell to Andy!
This month we wished a very fond farewell to our long time employee, Andy Goodell. Andy has been with Ithaca Carshare since launch in 2008, and has done almost everything related to Billing and Member Services, and a bit of everything else as well!
We will miss Andy around here, and wish him the best of luck in his new adventures!

Streets Alive! Southside Sept. 25
1:00-5:00 pm along Clinton and Plain Streets
Streets Alive! is at its simplest a day where the streets are closed to cars and open to people. Anyone can join in and make some fun. Simply chalk a space and leave at least half the street open for people to walk, bike, and roll by. The possibilities are almost endless: hula hooping, jump rope, hopscotch, street hockey, frisbee, basketball... Or practice your unicycling, play a little acoustic music, build a fort...
Be sure to commemorate your afternoon with a stop by the Ithaca Carshare photo booth at Center St. and Plain St.!
Volunteer superheros are vital for successful Streets Alive! events! Sign up for a shift today!
