WCA STUDENT PLEDGE

I pledge today to do my best as I set off on this learning quest.

I promise I will be polite and always try to choose what's right.

I will treat others kindly, persevere, try new things, and overcome my fears.

I will respect myself and others too; be honest in all I do.

The world is here for me to see.

DROP-OFF & PICK-UP REMINDERS

We are so excited to have more students this year! We appreciate your patience during drop-off and pick-up as we figure out the most efficient way to move cars through. Here are a few important reminders. Thank you for your cooperation!

Please do not drop-off K-1st and older siblings at the front doors. They need to be dropped off on the East side.
Drop students off at designated areas only (the cones).
If you prefer to park and walk your child up to the doors, please park in the church parking lot to reduce congestion in the school parking lot.
Drive SLOWLY through the carpool lines.
Please refrain from using your cell phones while the carpool lines are moving.
Students need to be at their desks ready to learn by 8:00am. They are considered tardy if they arrive after 8:05.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

Monthly Formal Uniform Calendar. There is only one formal uniform day next month on September 2. Please click here to view the calendar.

Choir Announcements. If you missed the choir announcements from Mr. Ballard, you may view them here.

Express Check-In. Please complete Express Check-In by September 1. If you have any questions, please contact Edie Garcia.

WCA Student Handbook. Please read the Student Handbook and return the Acknowledgement Form to your child's teacher by September 1.

September Enrichment Clubs. Sign your child child up! Choose from a variety of fun clubs taught by WCA teachers. Your child can also learn martial arts and fencing right here at WCA from non-WCA teachers. Clubs begin September 7! Read here for all of the details.

Attendance Update. Please call the attendance line at 303-814-5280 by 8:00am if your child will be tardy or absent. If you drop-off your student after 8:00am, please come inside to sign them in; otherwise, your student will be marked with an unexcused absence. Thank you for your cooperation! If you have any questions, please contact Edie Garcia.

Free Lunch Day! A free lunch day will be available on September 23 for students to try out hot lunch. Please preregister by September 20.

Visitor Check-In Policy. We welcome visitors at WCA. It is our policy that visitors must check-in at the front office and be entered into our Raptor system. Proof of identification will be required in the form of a driver's license for each visit to the school. Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our students safe!

Chat & Play. Please join the WCA Board of Directors for Chat and Play! Let's chat while our kids have a good time. Do you have questions for the Board? Do you want to get to know the members of the Board a little bit better? Join us on the WCA playground Tuesday, August 30 from 6:30-7:30pm. Please feel free to submit questions beforehand here. (Questions with a similar theme will be answered after Board introductions).
