DiscoverU gets a new look & more
After four years, DiscoverU continues to grow! Thanks to the input from a DiscoverU design team and many other partners, we are ready for DiscoverU's biggest and best year yet, which will take place October 17-21. The new logo shown above is just the beginning - be on the lookout for an updated website coming mid-September that will serve as a hub for activities and resources for all to get involved in building a "beyond high school" culture. More to come soon!

Summer may be ending, but there's still time to read
There is still time to complete King County Library System's summer reading challenges! Here are two great blogs about how kids can still participate in summer reading programs, book suggestions for different age groups and how libraries can continue to help students learn outside of school.

The Road Map Project is a region-wide effort aimed at improving education to drive dramatic improvement in student achievement from cradle to college and career in South King County and South Seattle.

The Road Map Project is supported by the Community Center for Education Results (CCER), a nonprofit organization.
