Volunteer Opportunity Updates 

The worst circumstances tend to bring out the best in people. Over 4,000 of you signed up to help with WV Flood recovery. That's pretty amazing! We will now be sending out weekly updates that include flood recovery and other community volunteer opportunities. If your organization would like to be included, please contact Dana. Operation Photo Rescue: Charleston & Richwood 

Volunteers are traveling from out West, Louisiana, and Ohio to help  WV Flood victims restore their family photos for FREE!

3-4 local volunteers are needed to man registration tables at each event. Charleston: August 26 & 27th. Richwood: August 28 & 29th. If you're interested please contact Margie Hayes from  Operation Photo Rescue.

Volunteers Sought For Free Elkview Health Clinic

The clinic is open to everyone, not only  WV Flood survivors. The event could be the largest free medical clinic in West Virginia history, the number of people the clinic can serve will depend on how many volunteers help.

Organizers are looking for volunteers from the medical, dental and vision fields, as well as volunteers who can prepare or bring meals for clinic workers and do other tasks.

Skilled Labor Needed For WV Flood Long Term Recovery 

West Virginia Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (VOAD) is seeking voluntary skilled labor for WV Flood long term recovery.

Skilled volunteers interested in registering with WV VOAD are encouraged to contact Ben Cisco at 304-235-2692 Ext 8.


WV Air National Guard Family Day 

This is a volunteer gig that everyone can dig: making popcorn, snow cones, and temporary tattoos. Volunteers needed for the  130th Airlift Wing of the West Virginia National Guard Family Day in Charleston September 10th 10am-2pm.
