Introduction to Mishkan HaNefesh

As we prepare to enter the High Holy Day season, join Cantor Kleinman and Rabbi Reiser for a dynamic introduction to Mishkan Hanefesh, the Reform movement's new High Holy Day machzor (prayer book). We will acquaint ourselves with the format, theologies, and innovations of the new machzor, as we consider how to find our own voices in our people's ancient prayers.  Additional class dates are September 13, 20 and 27.

Shabbat Evening Service and Installation of Rabbi Daniel Reiser
Friday, September 9 at 7:45 pm
Following a fun evening of food and friends, join us for a joyous community moment as we take part in a time honored tradition and install our new Assistant Rabbi, Daniel Reiser. Rabbi Ellen Lippmann, founding rabbi of Kolot Chayeinu / Voices of our Lives, will install Rabbi Reiser, offering remarks and a blessing.

We are thrilled to welcome Rabbi Reiser, his wife, Leah, and their daughter, Gavrielle, to the WRT community. This special service will be followed by a celebratory community oneg.

There is still time to dedicate a Prayerbook...

Mishkan HaNefesh
As we celebrate moving to a new High Holy Day Prayer Book, we invite you to dedicate Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur Prayer Books in memory of a loved one, in honor of a special person in your life, or to mark a special point in time. For your  convenience, you can order directly online here or download an order form for mailing. We hope you will join us for this generational milestone.

For WRT members...
