It's been 7 years since God nudged me into my role in women's ministry. A role in which at first I felt a bit lost, but a role I recognized was a gift that fit me like a favorite pair of gloves. A role in which you my sisters in Jesus Christ have graciously supported me time and time again. I am grateful. Thank You, Father.
"Be strong and courageous and do it. Do not be afraid and do not be dismayed, for the LORD God, even my God, is with you. He will not leave you or forsake you, until all the work for the service of the house of the LORD is finished." I Chronicles 28:20
These words jumped off the page of my Bible recently. Have you had a verse in the Word of God leap off the page into your heart lately?
May I challenge you to join me this year with a habit of reading the Bible each day for at least 15 minutes? Read the Bible as a treasured book. Grab a soft red pencil or highlighter. Read and listen for the Holy Spirit to speak to you. Mark these words. Pray these words. Read them again. Let our Heavenly Father speak truth into your mind and heart.
Love, Roxy Wiley - Director of Women's Ministries
