THE PANTHER PRESS
August 16, 2016
From Your Principals...
Dear Prairie Grove Families:

As the instructional leaders of Prairie Grove Schools, it is our pleasure to welcome new and returning families to the 2016-2017 Panther school year.  We hope your summers were brimming with opportunities for making family memories.

Research is clear that the relationship between school and home is critical to the development of children. Open and honest communication between parents and teachers engenders trust and accord. With an eye toward building stronger bonds between home and school, I'd like to suggest a few ways for you to get involved:  reach out to your children's teachers, consider joining our PTO, volunteer at school, attend parent-teacher conferences, and attend school-community functions. In other words, be involved!  We are here to partner with you.

It's always wonderful having the students back in our classrooms and hallways, filling them with energy and enthusiasm for learning.  It is our mission to help every child feel welcomed, connected, and a part of our PG family.  We  feel privileged to have the opportunity to work with our highly qualified and dedicated staff, the wonderful students, and the supportive parents.  Together we can make a difference.

Enjoy these last few days of summer and we look forward to seeing you soon!

Respectfully yours,

Martha Maggiore, Principal
