For the week of August 15 - 21

Becoming increasingly conscious that we are conscious is a byproduct of our awakening into Self. The self, (notice the small s), is a byproduct of veiled remembrance, and each of us are molded by outer input until, prompted by disillusionment, we ask and allow for a greater conscious awareness of what we are. Our book of life opens to a new chapter that is filled with unwritten clean pages, waiting for a new story to unfold.
Liz Taylor special music this Sunday

This process can be met with inertia generated by aspects of self that basically say, "I don't wanna!" Does this sound familiar? Inquiry into transformation of human consciousness requires honesty versus denial. Each of us may cling to the inertia of the images and patterns of the world so we can feel safe. There is nothing wrong with this, but when we make this pattern conscious, we are no longer governed by the unconscious resistance to step onto the fresh new page and chapter of a new story of our unfoldment.  This week we will focus on writing a new story, or perhaps more accurately, focus on being willing to allow our story to be written by a greater Self within us, one that has been within all along.  Come and join us! - Rev. Bruce

THIS SUNDAY, AUGUST 21 in
STUDIO B:
MINI WORKSHOP with CECELIA STAR
Join us after the Sunday service on August 24 when Unity Center congregant Cecelia Star will facilitate an hour of healing through use of Emotional Freedom Technique (Tapping), Ancestral Emotional/Forgiveness Releases, and a healing circle. Participants may feel a greater sense of peace, empowerment, and "lighter," after obtaining freedom from years of repressed emotions, habits, or karma embedded in their DNA.
Multi-talented Cecelia Star hails from Jamaica. She earned a degree in psychology from Cornell University and a law degree from Northeastern University. She is a former Administrative Law Judge, who subsequently opened her own law practice. In addition to being an author of young adult and children's books, she is also an ordained minister, an artist, and metaphysical healer. Since 1996 Cecelia Star has been actively pursuing her spiritual development by attending seminars, studying at a mystery school, receiving healings and activations (including her kundalini), and becoming a Reiki channel and reconnective, karmic healer, while simultaneously practicing law. As she evolves spiritually, she increasingly follows her passion which is being of joyful, meaningful service whether through her healings, artwork or books.

NEW EARTH MEDITATION AND DISCUSSION SUPPORT GROUP FOR PERSONAL AND PLANETARY HEALING,
with Rev. Bruce Kellogg
Thursday, October 6th, 6:30 pm
  Peace
A basic premise and motivation for this focus of light work, as it may be called, is the felt-knowing that there is increased light substance affecting our planetary psychology. This increase of spiritual substance is having an effect on the energetic inner structures within the human family. This is a great opportunity for advancement in Self understanding and demonstration of inherent and actual potential for us all. This group focus will be aligned with the light of Spirit and all New Earth servers to assist in the releasing and quickening of the plan of good for the planet and its people.
Future group dates will be clarified at the first meeting.
What to bring: An open mind and willing heart, and a desert to be shared after the light gathering. Group will take place at the Kellogg's home.  Love offering donation will be observed to support Unity Center.
