Children and Family Programs |
Children and Family Education
In the midst of our final week of summer camp, we are reminded that fall is just around the corner. And with September's arrival comes a new line-up of programs for children and families. Check out what we have planned for this fall; we are sure you will find something that will excite you and your child!
Nocturnal Neighbors There are just two programs this fall (September 9 and October 28). So if you haven't had the chance to attend this fun nighttime program, now's the time!
Oaks and Acorns Our popular five week series for children ages 3-5, Oaks and Acorns, begins September 14 and the first session's theme is "Celebrate Our State". Each class includes a story, craft and nature hike -- it's a great way to spend time with that special someone!
Let's Get Growing! Our Square Foot Gardening program for children ages 5-12 was so successful this summer that we are offering a series of classes this fall which will focus on planting "cool" weather crops. Classes are held Tuesdays after school or on Saturday mornings. Please check the website for dates, times and topics.
Members Only Great American Backyard Campout There are still a few spots available for this special event! Please click here to register.
Pre-registration is required for the above programs. Please click here for more information and to register!
