MHHD Welcomes New Deputy Director, Stephanie Slowly!
 
Stephanie C. Slowly, MSW, LCSW-C

Ms. Stephanie Slowly joined the Office of Minority Health and Health Disparities (MHHD) in July, 2016 and currently serves as the Deputy Director.  Prior to joining MHHD, Ms. Slowly served as the Deputy Chief of Programs and Training Capacity for the Maryland AIDS Drug Assistance Program. Ms. Slowly has more than 10 years of clinical social work, healthcare, and program implementation experience.  As the new Deputy Director, Ms. Slowly is committed to engaging internal and external stakeholders in innovative approaches to address the health disparity needs throughout the state of Maryland. Ms. Slowly received her Bachelor's degree in Clinical Psychology and Masters of Social Work from Norfolk State University and is a Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical through the Maryland Board of Social Work Examiners.

Outreach and Education for HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis B and C, and other STDs



MHHD,  in collaboration with the Center for HIV/AIDS and Health Services,  invites applications for  community-based education and outreach activities that address HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis B and C, and other STDs in minority, medically underserved communities .  


Non-profit organizations within Maryland Jurisdictions are eligible to apply.   Please review the Request for Applications (RFA) for all application information.  


All applications are due by 5:00 PM on Monday, August 15, 2016
