Jessie F. Hallett Memorial Library

The Jessie F. Hallett Memorial Library and the JFHML Friends Foundation are proud to showcase the Eagle Scout project, created by life scout Christopher Boucher, now available for enjoyment in the Garden of Read'N area.
What a wonderful addition to the Library grounds! Thank you to all who helped to make this possible with generous donations and the gift of time & resources...

September is an excellent time to begin the "Library Habit"---your local community public library is privileged to serve the residents of School District #182. The JFHML proudly partners with the schools to provide e-book access to all students. We presently offer 2500 ebook titles-- all at the touch of a button. Visit the Library website at www.hallettlibrary.org for easy to use instructions or go directly to http://jessiehallett.overdrive.com to download popular titles. Your current library card # is your user name and your 10 digit phone number is your password.  Device help is available every Monday afternoon from 4-6 pm.

Along with e-books, we provide bestsellers, large print books, audiobooks, DVDs and MORE! Check out an i-pad! Use one of our 9 printer-capable PCs in the Le Connection computer lab. Browse the Friends used bookstore BACKSTREET BOOKS. Enjoy a coffee or hot chocolate...

One of the many civic organizations who meet regularly at the JFHML, the Cuyuna Range Women's Club, is celebrating its 100 year anniversary. Jessie Fern Hallett was a charter member of this esteemed club whose motto remains: "Concern. Involvement. Service."  Please come and peruse an exhibit of 1916-2016 archives which will be on display throughout September for all to view.

The Library is the heart of the community.
