Spotlight Story
Lugo's Restaurant

Lugo's Restaurant opened in A ugust of 2009  as a full service restaurant serving great Contemporary American Cuisine for lunch and dinner, Wednesday through Saturday.

The dishes offer traditional American cuisine as the core component, with added influences from the Caribbean and other countries around the world. The atmosphere is perfect for visiting with friends and family, celebrating a special occasion, or take a seat at our bar and enjoy the open kitchen where you can view each fresh, from scratch dish from its creation.  Victor's experience in the culinary field introduces surprising flavors for the guest's palates, while continuing to serve well-known favorites.
Owners, Victor and Jennifer Lugo moved to Dickson to escape the city life and start a family.   The beauty and charm of Historic Downtown Dickson, along with the southern hospitality, confirmed they had chosen the perfect spot to pursue a dream.  Victor and Jennifer hope to add to the charm of downtown, while offering something fresh and unique to their guests.
Lugo's is opened Wednesday-Saturday for Lunch 11-2 and for dinner 5-9. To ensure they can  accommodate your dinner and/or large party at the desired dining time, please call (615) 441-0085
for reservations . Lugo's is located at 107 South Main Street, Dickson.

Dickson County Tennessee Smoke Fest 2016
On October 28th and 29th, 2016, join the Dickson County Chamber of Commerce and the Dickson County Fair Association for Dickson County's first annual Dickson County SMOKE FEST at the Dickson County Fairgrounds. This is your opportunity to be a part of an event Tennessee's Governor Bill Haslam and the Kansas City BBQ Society (KCBS) have declared a nationally sanctioned barbecue competition! Ribbon Cuttings and Grand Openings

The Mosquito Authority of Middle Tennessee has been making backyards worth mowing and front porches worth swinging for families across Middle Tennessee since October of 2012. On July 26, 2016 the Dickson County Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate their new office location in Highland Center at 1408B Highway 70 East.
The Mosquito Authority doesn't just kill mosquitoes. The Mosquito Authority is the industry leader when it comes to backyard mosquito control. Their proprietary mosquito treatment service utilizes integrated mosquito management to break the mosquito lifecycle and prevent the disease-carrying pests from making your yard their breeding ground. The Mosquito Authority of Middle Tennessee is a franchise independently-owned and operated by David Clifford who has been a local business owner since 1988 when he brought the first Subway franchise to Dickson County. David and his team are happy to provide their mosquito control services to families in Dickson and the surrounding counties. They would love to have the opportunity to eliminate dangerous and bothersome mosquitoes from your life so that you can spend time outdoors with friends and family--grilling, playing, swimming, and LIVING! For more information about The Mosquito Authority, visit www.bugsbite.com  or call 615-375-8632.
