Tri-City Raceway Park
Sizzling Summer Showdown
Back To School Racing Action
Set For September 11th
Guys Mills --   Persistent rain and thunderstorms forced Tri-City Raceway Park to cancel the racing action scheduled for Sunday, August 14th.  The Sizzling Summer Showdown and Back to School Racing Card presented by the Toyota Dealers of Northwestern PA has been rescheduled to Sunday, September 11th.  The racing card for the September 11th event will feature the same three divisions/sanctioning bodies that were scheduled on August 14th: BRP Modified Tour, RUSH Pro-Late Models and the Homak Penn-Ohio Pro-Stock Series.

"We had hoped to get this event in but the heavy downpours and thunderstorms we received Friday, Saturday and again Sunday afternoon proved to be too much," commented co-promoter Chad Wagner.  "In addition this is one program that we do not want to lose to the weather so we have rescheduled it for Sunday, September 11th."

Gate times for the September 11th show will be as follows: Pit and Grandstand Admission gates will open at 1:00PM and the racing action will begin at 4:00PM.  Since school will be in session the earlier times will insure that children and parents will be home in time to get a good night's rest.

The date may have changed due to Mother Nature's lack of cooperation but the racing action will be just as exciting.  Mark your calendars with the new date of September 11th and join us for the BRP Mod Tour Big Block Modifieds, RUSH Pro-Late Models and Homak Penn-Ohio Pro-Stocks at Tri-City Raceway Park.
