In the middle of July, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) released the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) for the PennEast pipeline. The Watershed Association has urged FERC to withdraw this DEIS because FERC is still waiting for PennEast to supply essential missing information.
It is critical that individuals voice opposition to PennEast's unnecessary and environmentally damaging proposal at FERC's upcoming public meetings and through written comments. Public meetings are scheduled as follows:
