MISSION MINISTRY UPDATE
To our members and extended partners in prayer, please lift up the House of Zion, their directors Marta and Polo, the families they serve and the OSLC team. Guide us to walk in the steps of Jesus as we bring kindness and love to the mission.
The House of Zion "Return to School" event is Thursday,
August 18, at 5 p.m., at HOZ - 1430 E Cleveland St., in Woodburn.
Backpacks will be filled with school supplies. In addition to the packs, socks, underwear, hooded sweatshirts and coats will be distributed. Volunteers will fill, distribute the gifts and greet families. Please wear an OSLC T-shirt if you have one. We suggest car pooling from Our Savior's at 4 p.m. or meeting at the HOZ. Contact Suzie Carmichael at 503-800-1212 or
[email protected] or Cliff Hamlow at 503 896-0042.
Please come enjoy our famous
Haitian Baked Oatmeal breakfast
August 14, at 10:00 a.m. between services (with leftovers available
after 11:00 a.m.). The Haiti Mission will be sharing our hopes to take a number of new water filters up into the mountains again this year. The filters are $125.00 each and we know they make a great gift idea as well as a meaningful difference in the lives of the families who get them. You can donate money for a part of a filter or a dozen or just listen to the information and enjoy the Baked Oatmeal and the toppings.
Thank you and blessings!

Please bring canned and non-perishable foods to help replenish our ever-expanding mission to help those in need right here in our
community.
