On Monday, Seattle City Council passed the Mandatory Housing Affordability Residential (MHA-R) framework. This new program will harness new growth in our city and add 6,000 more homes for low income community members. Read more HERE.
HALA in the Community
City Staff from many departments gave out free ice cream and talked with South Seattle residents at Seattle Summer Parkways / Rainier Heritage Parade in Rainier Valley on Saturday. Come see us in Ballard on August 27th at the next Summer Parkways event.
We'll be giving away more ice cream in exchange for some conversation with you! Look for the big white tent and the CityScoop banners.
