Come out to the Chicago Park District's Night Out In The Parks for Tales from Around the World is inspired by global folk tales, songs and dances for kids and families. Audience members suggest ideas, learn the dances and play characters in the scenes. We travel from Asia, Africa, North America, South America and Europe with tales that teach tolerance and cultural appreciation. Come learn about why a turtles shell looks cracked, how we got the saying "monkey see, monkey do" and silly stories about a snoring aardvark, mixed up fairytales and much more fun for the whole family.
Come ahead of time for Art in the Park- recycled art project fun!
